LOS ANGELES, CA (Friday February 8th, 2019) - What happens when 3 people haphazardly start a band as the result
of seemingly endless failure? MILKK is the answer. With a name coined from a typo, MILKK is the alt-pop brainchild of Nashville singer/songwriter Pat Kiloran, Minneapolis producer/musician Jack Vondrachek, and touring/session drummer John Ogelby.
After a year and a half of building an impressive online following, selling out several rounds of merch, 2 successful U.S. tours, and multiple EPs and singles with playlist support from Spotify, Amazon, and Pandora, MILKK are set to unveil their first full-length, 'HEADRUSH' on February 15th 2019. Their most recent single, 'The Garden (I'll Be Alright')', released last week has already been met with high acclaim. Watch the video here
An album that holds fast to no real genre or set of rules, 'HEADRUSH' is MILKK’s most personal and self-aware, yet most relevant and pop-culturally connected offering to date. From introspective, trap-influenced tracks (“90’s Baby”, “Headrush”) to raw, alt-rock drivers (“Mean To You”) to one-take, one-mic acoustic ballads (“I Thought I Lost You”) to self-deprecatingly enlightened radio feelers (“The Garden”, “Up On Us”) and everything in between, there’s nothing that MILKK is afraid to explore and expose on their 12-song, 44 minute debut.
MILKK will be supporting the release of ‘HEADRUSH' starting with a U.S. headline tour in March. More info and full dates to follow.
